International Polymer Process Innovation Conference

PPI 2021 will be hosted online

from 14 until 15 December 2021

The International Polymer Process Innovation Conference (PPI) is the outcome of joint efforts from the University of Bradford (UK), Montanuniversität Leoben (AT), National Technical University of Athens (GR), University of Minho (PT) and Ghent University (BE). As from 2021, the international PPI conference will be organized every year.

The first PPI conference follows the trend of the previous predecessors on establishing a forum for academics and specialists from the industry exchanging recent developments in the multidisciplinary areas of plastic and composite products, tool development and polymer process innovation. Their attendance at the conference will offer an excellent opportunity to disseminate the results of projects and research; to stimulate concepts or ideas; and to launch synergistic research collaborations for the future.

Specific areas of interest include: polymer processing, additive manufacturing, hybrid moulds, product and tool development, materials for plastic and composite products and tools, sustainability and circularity of polymers.

Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
· Additive manufacturing
· Advanced polymeric composites
· Developments in polymer processing
· Moulds and mould making innovations
· Polymer processing simulation
· Hybrid Moulds
· Trends in product development
· Rheology
· Sustainable us of polymers
· Polymer process innovation
